A girl I grew up with is a current student, and she absolutely loves it. It's great for clinical practice, because you have much more time in the field, starting from day one. I visited as well, and my general impression was that the classes are small, the professors are approachable, and it has a great reputation in the metro Boston area. I also received a hand written note from a recent grad, telling me why she loved her Simmons experience. Given that MSW programs are two years, I want to have the most experience possible before I start working. Also the location is perfect, close to so many other Boston universities.
