Thanks super for the informative reply. Is CS fairly self sufficient or do we need to go to Houston to get stuff like SSN, non general shopping etc done? Also any light on the cheapest way to get to Houston and back using public transport? How safe is the campus at night with regard to mugging and stuff especially since I dont exactly look like a guy no one will mess with.

How is Texas A&M vs Penn State ? Are they peer schools? And has anyone heard from CMU. They said they are still reviewing my application

Are there are any Indian stores and restaurants or atleast veggie restaurants in and around College Station. Also what are my options to commute if i dont want to get a DMV license.Is a bicycle enough to go around?

So if i accept and reject before April 15, and accept another schools offer, will I be in trouble(legal or otherwise ?
