Congrats on the interview! Were you notified yesterday or today?

Wow, congrats you guys on the RISD interviews! That's awesome.

On their website, I just found that CCA says, notifications will be sent out by mail at the end of the 1st or 2nd week of March. They seem to be telling everybody something different...they need to get their story straight!

Anyone heard anything from CCA lately? I am getting worried, b/c it seems most people have done their interviews and I still haven't heard anything yet. Are they supposed to be getting back to us soon do you think? If you did have an interview, do they interview everybody or just the front-runners? (for MFA Fine Arts). And if they did interview you, did they say when they would get back to you? Waiting, waiting, waiting....it's driving me crazy!!

Congrats, Brunt!! What discipline are you in? Did you do an interview with them or just received an acceptance letter?

Does anyone know the number of applicants each school interviews? And how many of those interviewees they accept? For example: Yale is 1,000-something applicants, 75 interviews, for 25 spots. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Just wondering what the stats were for other schools.

I meant from the last year, sorry--not this year. I am not sure what programs, I think it was all of them. Hopefully we'll hear soon though from CCA!

oh, good! so that doesn't mean we're out for sure just yet. did they say anything about when we might find out and how (phone/e-mail/postal)? the results page on here has a lot of acceptances around march 11 or so. on the results page too, there there a lot acceptances and few rejections...so hopefully we are not out.

Anyone else heard or not heard from MICA or CCA yet? I haven't heard a peep.

@alizarin thanks for letting me know. I just posted in the other one that I received my SAIC rejection letter today as well. Yeah, I wonder why ours took so long. Maybe they sent them out in spurts. Mine was dated 2/8. Well, that door is closed...

Ugh. The only day I actually wished it wasn't a holiday today--no mail!

I applied to: Yale--rejected via website 2/5 MICA Hoffberger-- CCA-- CalArts-- This is my first year applying too. Haven't heard from the other 3 schools yet. My list is pretty small, so hoping to at least get in somewhere! No news is good news, right?

How'd you know they are doing interviews this coming week? That's probably a stupid question, but I just thought I'd ask . So do you think it's bad news if we haven't heard anything from them yet?

I'm getting worried about SAIC too! Do you think it means we're out if we haven't heard anything and people are getting interviews? ...or do you think they even interview everybody? :/

Wow. Thanks for telling us that, rickey. Just checked mine too online and am rejected as well. Dated February 5th....they could have at least notified us?? Ahh. oh well.

Congrats to your wife! What discipline are you and your wife applying for? I imagine Painting/Drawing tends to take longer than the other majors. I wouldn't count yourself out this early, because even if they send two letters to the same house, one could get there before the other.

Hopefully, we will start to hear back from schools sometime in February, even though I know the majority of them say March. Good luck!

How's everyone doing with their applications/deadlines? Finally got all my things in...sigh of relief!

If you can't handle not eating for two weeks, (which we all know fuel is important!), then I would cut out and paste the words to the end of it. As an artist, I would want everything I've worked so hard on to be perfect.....don't give up!!! Cut and paste, I say. Good luck!

Who's applying to Yale for MFA Painting/Printmaking this year? Does anyone know how many people apply and the acceptance rate?

Where is everything applying for MFA Painting for Fall 2010?? I still haven't made a set list yet, and just wanted to see where everyone else was hoping to go.
