My GRE score is 450 V 640 Q and I'm applying to USC, UCLA, UCI, UC Davis, CSU schools and a few out of state schools. How do you guys score 800 Q? I have a math BA and it seems impossible for me to score 800. I did undergrad 10 years ago and after some life experience I'm going back to school for a MS in Statistics to work as a statistician. Is there a difference between a UC Stats degree and a CSU Stats degree in finding work as a statistician? Any reply would be greatly appreciated.

I have a math degree and want to get a Master's in Actuarial Science or Statistics. I'm going with ILSTU because I don't have to take the GRE. I know I don't need grad school to become an actuary but I'm going to school on my GI Bill. I'd like to hear from Actuarial Science people and Statistics people. Which program provides more career options and better pay? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
