Hi JMM1020! Welcome to the forum! My BC application was complete on 1/21 but officially 1/28 and I was notified on 2/4 so I would say about 1-2 weeks. Good luck on hearing back!!

I got my letter in the mail today and also received a scholarship!! I'm excited but am still waiting to hear from 6 other schools. I think I'm leaning towards BC though. They are my top choice. Ugh so torn. I think I'll wait until the last week of February and make decision by then.

Thanks for sharing this! It was really insightful. I applied to a mix of programs that were top tier and not so top tier and am going to look at them more closely now based on the suggestions from this article.

To everyone worried about their transcripts, I sent email here swapp@hunter.cuny.edu inquiring about my transcripts and then received a call from admissions about 3 hours later. I unfortunately missed the call and when i called back I got a voicemail. But I went online to check my application and the transcripts were labeled received now. So if you are truly worry, perhaps send and email to address above.

Yeah, UIC isn't my top choice either. Do you know if Loyola has a better reputation/program? I only applied to 2 schools in NY: Fordham and Hunter. I missed the deadlines for Columbia and NYU.

Sorry to hear that Jill! But congrats on UPitt. I was just curious if other people have heard from either school but it seems it may take awhile to hear back since I applied in January.

Congrats to you too sweetpiepear! @nightwolf, i saw the same note on mine dated for 2/10/14 - I assume CORR means correspondence? Hopefully, we should get the letters soon!

I just a received an email last week letting me know that I have been accepted into Boston College. They said a formal letter will be mailed out soon. Has anyone received their formal acceptance letter yet? Thanks!
