Sneaky and DCMPP - Thanks for recovering the thread. Sneaky - how did the program match -or didn't- your previous expectations? The general picture seems to be that GW has a very good recognition in DC Area, somehow lower to GU but higher than AU. Also very flexible courses, allowing to chose among many fields for concentration that would make the program more quant heavy or else leadership/management oriented. Finally, we're talking about a practical, field work oriented school rather than a theory based one. Do you think the program matches this idea I have? I'd also like to know everyone's insights about the comparison between GW and GU MSPP. I'm 95% leaning to GW as a I've been granted a full tuition fellowship and did not receive any funding from GU. Thanks!

Thanks jerbear for your reply! I have a full ride fellowship from GW and nothing from MSPP. I think I should start to picture myself in GW next semester. MSPP was my top choice... but I feel it'd be crazy to go for it with such a debt. I'd appreciate any insights.

When have you received your aid responses? Has somebody in the Gradcafe been awarded the MSPP full ride fellowship? Thanks!

Great that you have started this thread as I'm going through the same decision and have the same question about quantitative requirements. Did any of the schools offered you any funding?

Just in the nature of encouraging everybody with strong social leadership backgrounds to apply: I have read the profiles of the previous years fellows. They have OUTSTANDING careers, but in my opinion not all of them seem to have overcome major adversities.

Hello everyone, 1. Are we all on the same page that CPL is expecting us to apply to just one of their fellowships? I mean, would it be wrong to apply to 2 of them? 2. Does anybody have any clue about the acceptance rate of these fellowships? Are they all equally competitive? Thanks!

Hi! I've received the same email on Monday. I'll also be very anxious for the funding email. I'll be following this thread for more info from you guys regarding funding. I have applied to other top MPP programs. Perhaps we can discuss here what's more convenient when the other schools begin releasing their admission results.
