When did you apply and when did you receive your acceptance?

Did they send it to your regular email or through GET? I applied on the deadline date so it might still take a while for me.. Keep your head up! Everything happens for a reason. You still have two schools!

Omg, so silly of me. I guess I wasn't navigating the site correctly! Thanks for the instructions. I was beginning to worry if they received my application or not. Mine also has the yellow triangle. However, when I look at Application Status it says 'Initiated'. Hmmm, I sure hope the incomplete is a glitch.

Still no word from CSUN I interviewed on 2/10. I thought I did okay, but maybe my nerves got the best of me. I would also love to attend CSUN since I'm doing my undergrad there (or here since I'm at school right now haha ) I'm still waiting on CSULA as well.

I compared that list with CSUN's and CSUN's was way shorter and I didn't qualify for any at all. The whole financing for grad school sitch is sort of stressing me out but I am just hoping for the best!

Correct me if I am wrong but I feel like USC is actually offering more scholarships since they have more money to give out compared to CSU'S.. CSU offers one or two stipend/grant programs and not as many scholarships. Then again I don't think all the scholarships will be able to cover USC's price tag. http://sowkweb.usc.edu/scholarships I am on the same boat as you.. Would like to go to USC but scared of the price tag.

For those who have been accepted to USC, has anybody gotten their acceptance letter through the mail? It has been a week and I read somewhere that we have to put in our deposit by the 28th..

No, it doesn't say accepted. It says office of admission only notifies admission by letter only. I received an acceptance email on Monday 2/10 and I am checking my mailbox everyday!

I submitted mine on 11/14.

Yea, they interview 6-8 people at one time. You just received a confirmation email? After they sent me a confirmation email, they sent me another saying that my application is complete. How did you send your application?

Did you receive an email saying that they received your packet? Or nothing at all? During the interview they said that they are moving things quickly for this application period and final decisions should be sent out by early April. I think you should call them and ask if they have received your application. But then again, they could be doing things in waves too. I remember last year's batch was like that.

Same here. But for some schools I used my work supervisor (unrelated to Social Work) because I worked there for four years.

What program did you apply for? (FT/PT) And what campus? Have you filled out your placement form? I also got accepted to USC!

I'm leaning heavily towards going to USC...I have to think quick though since I have to put my deposit in soon. As far as rejection letters, I know they send out rejection/waitlisted emails. When did you turn in your application?

Still waiting on CSULA but I had an interview with CSUN on Monday. They said they are doing everything quickly this application period and will be letting us know if their decisions within a month. AAAHH!

I had a group interview with CSUN on Monday. They said they will let us know in less than a month of their final decisions.

Got my acceptance email from USC yesterday! Just waiting it out from the CSU's...
