Hello guys, I have got an offer with scholarship and I replied to the school that I'm attending But because of some personal issues I'm thinking of starting grad school next year Suppose deferral is not an option, then I have to turn the school down Do you think if I reject them this late, it will be a bad record and they won't consider accepting me when I apply again next year? I'm wondering... When I saw people who are applying to the same program with me posting acceptance notice on result search board. Then I emailed and asked the admission office about my status, they said no decision has been made regarding my application and that their decision should be out on or before mid March. Does it actually mean they have not decided to accept/decline/waitlist me? Or does it simply mean I'm waitlisted? Any comment?
