  1. Hey, Personally, I think you are set. If you want to talk more, go ahead an PM me. I think it is really going to come down how you represent and speak about your experience, hardships, successes, and reasons why you want to become a social worker. Hope that helps!
  2. Did anyone apply? Is anyone intending to go here for their MSW?
  3. No problem. If you are doing an online program, make sure it is accredited, and see how they are going to get you the internships, field practice, and practicums, etc. you will need to allow you to perfect your skill and apply your knowledge. I know USC is not the only school that has an online program, but I do know that they have figured out a way to make their online program work identically to those on campus regardless of the student's location. I would just make sure you investigate how the online school you select will assist you in.
  4. That is a lie, do what is best for you. My friend went to an online program (USC) and she just got hired as a director. So take these opinions for face value, you are different. Good luck!
  5. Me either. "I lacked social work experiences..." Yet, I got into all the other schools. Oh well. No need to plan for SJSU now. I hope you have other schools too!
  6. Since you go there, you would know more than me. lol. Fingers crossed.
  7. Where did you hear this from?
  8. I just called the office and they said that they are still processing applications.
  9. He needs to tell us if we are wait listed or not. This is ridiculous.
  10. So has anyone else heard from SJSU???
  11. Yes they do. I cannot agree more with you all.
  12. lol smart man for applying to different programs.
  13. Do not apply to USC last minute. I would suggest waiting again next year and giving yourself the full opportunity. USC is a big financial commitment so you have to ready to know that if you are accepted you are about to fork up the money. I am still personally undecided and just submitted my deposit to them for safety. Mind you I will lose the nonrefundable deposit but I'd rather do that than potentially owe 100K. I literally just bought more time...
  14. Thank you kstubbs11, I was unaware of the offer that is made if you work through NHCS.
