I'm waiting too! I only saw one person post yesterday about receiving a call on the discussion board. I'm wondering if they might be calling a few people each day? Not sure but either way I'm anxious to hear from them!

According to the decision board seton hall seems to be sending out phone calls today! Although only one person posted about it so I don't know if they'll make all the calls in one day or spread them out over a few days. Good luck to everyone that applied there!

Haha yes I've seen posts where one person is told one thing and another person is told a totally different thing from the same school! They seem to always be changing their minds! I just hope to know soon from the rest of my schools because honestly not sure where I will decide to go! I know this is a good problem to have but it's confusing still. It would be easy if they all got back to us before April 15th but I guess that would be just too easy! Lol we'll just have to try to be patient for now

They're sending it through mail this year? The previous year they seemed to call so I've been waiting for a call! But I've also heard that they have a low acceptance rate. However, I may be wrong about this but I remember somebody telling me that their wait list move along pretty nicely most likely because of the expense of the program so to not get too discouraged if you're wait listed. But I imagine that would change from year to year depending on the applicants.

Happy to hear about Seton Hall! It's one of the schools I'm waiting still waiting to hear from and I've heard great things about their program!

I was looking around their website and they do seem to provide on-campus housing for graduate students. Since I do not live in CT, if I choose to attend this school (thinking about it but still waiting to hear from other schools) I will be either living on-campus or trying to rent an apartment off-campus.

It seems like I won't be hearing from my last 4 till April either! I thought I would have heard from all of them by now. I didn't realize how long some programs took to send decisions out!

I haven't been able to tour Adelphi so I'm glad you liked the facility! I was under the assumption that we would only have to attend classes on Sundays at the Manhattan Center but a poster in another forum said that during the week you have to attend on-campus clinicals on Long Island. If this is true then I'm not sure it would be worth the commute to Long Island for me.

That's insane! I was waiting on Brooklyn to make a decision about other schools but I guess I'm going to have to put a deposit down on another school first which really sucks. I thought all programs had to let us know a decision by April 15th? Or have I been misinformed?

@Arcanelady27 Did you attend the Brooklyn graduate admissions chat? Did they say anything about when to expect decisions from the speech program?

I feel like it could be a good option because I could probably keep my part-time job while going to school which would be nice!

Congrats! I just received my first acceptance last Wednesday so I know how you feel! Such a great feeling

I've seen people post that they recieved an email saying that it could take 6 more weeks. I did not receive that email but I was interviewed about a month ago. The grad student I met there said that it's usually 2-3 weeks after your interview that you'll hear back but I still haven't heard anything! And 6 more weeks is a really long time to wait! If you hear anything let me know! Good luck on your interviews!!!!

I haven't heard anything from them and I'm not sure if that's true or not. However someone posted that they heard they sent out their 1st wave of acceptances and their 2nd wave will be sent out April 8th I'm hoping it's before April 8th but who knows. Good luck!!
