  1. Were anybody waitlisted for scholarships? I don't see anyone waitlisted this year.
  2. Did you reach out to them this week after the results were posted? I was thinking of writing to them the next week.
  3. Hey guys, quick question. What happens to our admitted status if we do not confirm by the April 15 deadline? I mean I cannot confirm (CHF 1000 is a lot, but I want to continue looking for funding.)
  4. Is anybody waitlisted, either for admission or for funding?
  5. Not sure, but I think it is about 18000, to cover living costs? The website should have the details.
  6. Haha, that was probably me. Refreshed my page about 5 mins ago and it was posted there. I am going to start looking at funding options now. Sooo want to attend IHEID!!
  7. Hi guys, so I have been a silent spectator for a while now. Thought it will be good to post my MDev application decision since I have been following this forum since long. My followup shows that I have been admitted, but my scholarship request has been refused. I don't know whether I can realistically attend without the scholarship, but I am at least happy that I have been accepted. Good luck to the rest of you.
  8. This is becoming such an exercise in self-restraint. i need to stop checking the site every 30 mins. The results wont be posted any faster. haha
  9. My 2 cents. For me, I have applied to Ivies and Oxbridge in the past and some now too. (I have gotten into some but funding has been the decisive factor). Honestly, I didn't know about IHIED until a year ago. It is more popular in Europe, else I would have applied in the past year. MDev at IHEID also looks good because of the significant funding they give. And of course because it is well recognized and is also in the heart of Geneva.
  10. For me everyday until decision day will be someday-in-March. The anxiety is just so palpable now.
  11. Thanks guys for being so active on this forum and sharing while we wait. Glad to know that I am not the only one on the waiting train. Keep posting. 4 weeks to go.
  12. Last year I think it came out on March 22, so I guess it will be in the week after March 20. Too long of a wait!!
  13. Don't know about document verification at IHEID, but I think you should email the university you are accepted at about loosing the document. Meanwhile, you can ask your previous college to re-issue your transcript, which might take some time. From my experience, most universities are open to requests and willing to work through things with the students. Verification is mostly a stringent measure and if they find that what you sent it is not the original copy, you never know how that will impact your acceptance.
  14. Applied for MDev. Just checked the application follow up page, and my application has under consideration status. 6 more weeks for decisions, aghhhh!
  15. I think that as long as two of the references give a complete picture about you, your work and academic potential, it should be fine.
  16. I applied for MDev by the Nov deadline. So the notification would by mid-March? Is there a link you can share which has this information? I was kind of hoping to hear around now about my admission decision. I totally missed that bit of information.
  17. Well I applied for Chevening last year as well. Justto give it a trial run before I got the required years of experience. I was (of course) notified that my application was unsuccessful on March 15. This time... still no news. Keeping fingers crossed that it is sign of better news. Also, I don't know about others but I haven't applied yet to the top school on my list. the deadline to submit an application is by this 31st. I wanted to apply only if I get shortlisted because application fee is quite high to this one. So unsure right now and desperately hoping they let me know at least by the 31st if not earlier!
