My thoughts exactly. This is mental. And the fact that they all of a sudden seem to be telling people that the status page is binding just because that now suits them better is just...just... I have no words.

I've had the same email/update and completely agree with you, SIXX! They just can't toy with it like this - glitch, human factor, whatevs. Depending on how many of us it ends up concerning, and if we weren't meant to be admitted, I'd say let's push for them creating extra space for us, by way of cleaning up this bizarre mess!

Hey Curious_Grad - I hear you... Same situ, and have no idea how I'm going to be able to catch up on everything I should have done this week over the weekend! On the upside, the workload should at least keep my mind occupied elsewhere...silver linings, and all that...

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys Mych, Bluebird86 and alchyna - I'm absolutely with you on reactions. Have now spent the best part of an hour looking at the Admitted Students Week page (and that was out of pure desperation for new info - there's not that much to check out on there haha!) Oh and alchyna: That's exactly what it's like. I kept my cool until this week, and now I suddenly feel like some desperate teenager spending every waking moment learning as much as I can about the boy I like to compensate for the fact that he doesn't seem to have noticed me yet (never a fruitful exercise, then or now, but isn't it strange how it feels so much better than doing nothing)... And judging by the reader stats at the bottom of this page - have you noticed that numbers have gone up pretty drastically in the past week? - I'm now far from the only one... Hi all, Like so many others I've been reading this forum religiously for the past few months - have applied for the MIA (late deadline) and I swear knowing that you guys have been going through what I have is what has kept me sane...so thank you! Haven't posted before though, as didn't feel I had much to say... But this email takes the biscuit! Bloomin' #%€& - my heart actually stopped for a second!! And do you think I'm right in interpreting: "You do not need to check out your online follow-up at this stage, as you will receive an e-mail once your application has been processed." as: "Your incessant status checking is overloading our servers. Please give us a break."? (To which my answer can only be: I absolutely will...once you tell me if I'm in or out!)
