I applied for 3 year as my first choice as i want to continue working. Don't lose hope. I really thought my personal statement was horrible but it got me in. Keep your head up!

Hi guys. I applied last year for Fall 2014 for MSW program at CSULB and got rejected I then got a job as a Child & Family Specialist in SPA 6 and with the experience i've gotten from there I was encouraged to reapply again for Fall 2015 and I have finally been accepted into the 3 year program!!! Got the email on Friday morning. I accepted it as CSULB has been my top choice and I will be attending orientation this upcoming saturday Don't lose hope guys!

Well, I was rejected from CSULA :/ oh well. At least I'm not waiting anymore for them.

i called again yesterday because I received an email stating my financial aid awards were posted (all loans) for the 2014-2015 school year so I wanted to make sure it had nothing to do with the MSW acceptance. Now they told me i should received something by the end of the first week of June I haven't heard from any CSU and I'm growing impatient.

Congrats ! Sadly I have not heard anything from CSULB or any other CSU for that matter not even a notification of pending status. I'm giving them til the first week of June to send me anything. I highly doubt I will be accepted to my first choice as they told you its full and chances are slim to none I hate waiting

I'm yet to receive an email about financial aid. Then again I applied the day before the deadline so I probably wont receive anything until another month from now since they are taking so long to reply to people. :/ Good luck I hope that is a good sign for you!!!

Oh man if you were rejected I am sure I'll be receiving a rejection letter from CSULA too.

I just spoke with Ms. Lightburn from CSULA to confirmed they received my application bc they never sent me a notification. I asked when is the latest I'll know if I am rejected/accepted and she said by the end of May! blah

Got an email from csulb about 40 minutes ago stating they're barely looking at my application. I turned in my application 2/14 . And shortly after the email they called me because i sent in 4 letters of rec and they are only going to look at 3 (boo i thought they would be like csudh that allows you to send an optional 4th letter of rec). Now time to wait

I just checked my GET and I still have the yellow triangle :/ about a month ago it was complete. I tried calling admissions last week but of course I was on hold forever and had to hang up :/ Still haven't heard from any school I applied to

It seems that CSULA has rude people in general working their offices (or its a hit or miss too). I graduated with my BA there last year and I had to deal with some rude staff :/ I just need to know if I'll be attending a grad school so I can move on with my life and get a job with my bachelors. UGH!!!

Hi everyone Has anyone heard from CSULB or DH? Also, did anyone get interviewed for CSULA, LB, or DH? I have only gotten email notifications that my application is still pending :/
