  1. Does anyone have any information on the documents required for reapplying to Mcgill? I know most schools allow you to reuse documents but I can't find any information on their website. I have contacted them by email but have not yet received a response so if anyone has any information I would really appreciate it!
  2. I'm applying for the second time! I'm currently wailisted at Dalhousie but I'd say at this point I'm not getting off the waitlist.... I'll be reapplying to Dal, McGill (maybe), and UofA. I'm also considering applying to Western and UofT this time around. I'll be re-writing the GRE on Tuesday . I'll be doing some more volunteering this year and taking a few more courses as well to try to improve my application! I'm already getting anxious to start filling out applications!!
  3. I was also wondering about sending updated transcripts. I know my subGPA has improved with my winter semester marks and I was wondering if they would accept them. Any thoughts on this?
  4. Dal only accepts 24 people so I can't see the list being longer than ~15 people (maybe less? ), but I'm just speculating I actually have no idea.
  5. To my knowledge the list has not moved (but there could be people who got off it who are not on this forum/who I don't know personally). I contacted the admissions secretary in regards to the length of the list but he would not give out that information. I wish they would just tell us how many people are on the list!! I don't know why they won't. Since they gave us until April 28th to get back to them maybe they are waiting for the people at the top of the list to confirm whether or not they are staying on the list before sending out new acceptances?
  6. I agree! I also applied to UofA and thought I had a good chance at being accepted. I was speaking to Dr. Campbell about taking a prerequisite in the spring and she had told me that was fine. However, I received my letter of rejection yesterday and on beartracks my application status says "ineligible". I'm slightly confused as to why it says ineligible. I was not able to register for my course until April 8th and could not mail them my confirmation of registration until then. I told them this earlier in February and they did not say it was a problem so I think I'm going to contact them about it on Monday. Has this happened to anyone else? Also the reason I had to take the prerequisite so late was because UofA changed one of their prerequisites in the fall (which in my opinion is a bit late to be changing program requirements). Previously they had said that if you could not take a language acquisition course, another linguistics course could be used to fulfill the prerequisite instead but they removed this alternative.
  7. I mailed my confirmation on Monday, so they probably received it by Wednesday or Thursday but I haven't received a response. I've emailed/called Mark so much recently that I feel bad emailing him again but I think I might on Monday just to make sure they have received it!!
  8. Does anyone have any information about the waitlist at Dal from previous years? They will not provide me with any information and it's driving me crazy!! Any information would be great!
  9. I know a lot of programs (not necessarily SLP) will not accept you until you've completed the program you are enrolled in. It might be best to contact the school specifically to see what their policy is on that issue.
  10. I was wondering the same thing! It looks like they want us to print it off though I think.
  11. I just found out I'm on the waiting list at Dal. They contacted me by email! Does anyone know how many people are placed on the waiting list?
  12. I haven't heard of anyone being wait-listed at Dal yet. I contacted Mark by email yesterday and I was told everyone would be contacted by the Admissions Secretary by April 15th.
  13. I also just received an email from McGill and I was refused. Still waiting to hear back from Dal and UofA!!
