Does anyone know if you should list "fellowships" you were awarded but didn't take (because you ended up choosing a different school?)
OMG- I'm so sick of it already but I guess if you get it you can be picky and choosy about picking up TA work!
Hi folks,
I'm moving to Toronto for school in the fall and I wondered if anyone who there knows a good realtor? Someone who's on the buyers side, trying to negotiate the best deal... I'm looking especially in Toronto West- between High Park and U of T preferred, and close to the Bloor line.
Thanks,
Melissa
I'm also 99% GOING to U of T. I just got an email yesterday... so I'm waiting for the official terms, I guess. But I've already started telling people and planning, at least in my mind, about housing etc.
I'm actually a Canadian living in New York the last 4 years so for me its a bit like going home.....
Is anyone thinking about grad house?
I was accepted at UMASS in their Masters program... Funding info to come soon.
I'm still waiting on Geo programs at UNC-CH, UToronto and CUNY...
The wait is hard!
I'm also trying to decide whether a part-time job (right in my research area- remittances and social movements) is worth deferring for a semester? Does anybody know if these schools/dept have a deferral policy?
Although CUNY is not my first choice, I could probably do the job and do my first semester at CUNY because both are in NYC... but I guess I'm getting ahead of myself now!
