Hi everyone! Is anyone else heading to the University of Virginia for their program in biomedical sciences?

Anyone heading to UVa this fall?

I am technically waiting for one school, but have already committed to another program. However, I just heard back from being on the "top of the waitlist" at one school Thursday...so no, it is not too late to be admitted In fact, more people should hear from schools once others decline/accept. Best of luck to you! Waiting is the worst...

Also is anyone going to re-visit their accepted schools?

Hi everyone, for those of you who are currently turning down schools/have already done so, how did you tell the PIs you had planned to work with? I'm not sure what to say...but they would have all made great PIs...it just comes down to my fit in the program.

Not sure if it was you, Eatin'Biscuits who turned down their spot...but just got off the waitlist for UVA. For those on the waitlist anywhere, don't lose hope! And for people who have officially declined their spots, thank you for letting the schools know so that people on the waitlist can be accepted Best of luck to everyone waiting to hear back and for those currently making decisions. I'm pretty late in the game to join this convo, but I have enjoyed the optimism and helpfulness of this thread.

Congrats on UNC!!! I noticed you also got into UVA. Are you going to turn down UVA then? I am actually on the top of the waitlist for UVA Micro&Immunology. haha. I'm anxiously awaiting any news from them!
