My potential advisor is wayyyyyy cool. The interview was one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had. Now if only they said yes to me. #hoping#praying.

I think you should email her and explain yourself. Ask her about whether the possibility of getting a RA-ship is high. Also, contact the department and finaid. I will do everything in my power to find out about the chance. My understanding is sometimes we have to be super proactive. Best of luck! I am kinda on the same boat.

Same boat here. I got the mail from my top school and went ahead and emailed my potential advisor who also happened to be the graduate chair. It's been a week and no reply. I would say give it at least a week - 10 days before you email them back. There's no way you messed it up. I think they are just too busy. Think about it. They can't just say "sorry you have been kinda in a rush we can't accept you anymore." We will be fine -

A professor from OSU emailed me and asked if I was still interested in the program. If yes he could set up the time to talk to me about the program. I have not received this kind of email before. What do you make of that? Is that like an interview? What should my attitude be towards this? I apologize if these questions are dumb. I just do not know what to expect. Appreciate all your help! -
