Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone had information on both schools and their program. I was accepted into both and don't know which one to pick.

Finally received an acceptance letter for Adelphi University. I am so relieved and my advice to everyone is to stay positive.

Hey Arcanelady27, it is not my top choice but I am becoming really anxious, and thought that it would be a safety school. I was hoping to get into Lehman or Brooklyn. I have a friend that interviewed on 3/21 at Lehman and she came out crying. She told me that she didn't feel positive or confidence of what Lehman's answer is going to be. And that has made me extremely nervous. I don't know what to do, I'm going over old CSD notes but I'm having a mental breakdown. As for Brooklyn I haven't heard from them and a lot of people have had interviews, I don't know what else schools are looking for.

Being wait listed is crushing my hopes for acceptance. I called hofstra and I was told that I'm "top 30" in the wait list. I honestly don't think that I'll be accepted.

It has been the longest month for me as well. We all deserve a chance because we have all worked hard and show how passionate we are about this field. I'm trying my best to stay positive ❤️

Hey arcanelady27, was is a relaxed interview? And do you remember what type of SLP questions they asked? I graduated May 2012 so I've been put of school for awhile. Thank you for responding and did apply again this year to Lehman ?

I'm also waiting for Adelphi, LIU, St. John's and Hofstra. I've called the office of graduate admissions so much that they probably hate me now. I guess we just have to play their waiting game and be hopeful for a positive response.

Thank you for answering. New York schools are taking forever. I received 2 rejections (CUNY Hunter, TC Columbia) and CUNY Brooklyn emailed me yesterday that my application is currently being reviewed by the department and that it will take about 6 weeks to hear a response. Does anyone have information on CUNY Lehman's interview? So far that the only school that I've heard from and might be my only chance of getting accepted into a graduate program. Thank you so much for letting me vent on this forum.

Did you apply to NYC schools?

Thank you for who ever created this thread. This waiting process is killing me. I applied to 9 schools and have been rejected from 2. And I haven't heard from the other 7 schools. I applied late December/ early January which I thought was early for the February 1st and February 15 deadline. I honestly don't know what else to do if I don't get accepted into a graduate program. I'm trying to stay positive but I have broken down in tears. Good luck to everyone waiting, hopefully we hear from programs soon.
