Here's more information on assistantships that I've gotten so far from the student director. As far as assistantships go, TA are non-existent as obviously there are no undergrads for TAs to teach, but he was still somewhat vague about other GA positions. As far as I know, any positions available through GSPIA will be posted throughout the year, but this could just be normal hourly wage work as opposed to anything that'd count in the way of tuition. I also heard back from the Ford Institute, and they don't offer paid research assistantships. So, I'm assuming they offer seminars, networking opportunities, and volunteer stuff.
