I got my funding details from Virginia Tech today. They offered me a great deal. It is a kind of an Art and Technology program which suits my goals and I love it. So I said I am attending. It is finally over! Hope these days past as fast as possible and this waiting ends for u all, as well.

Wish u find great schools near NYC. Virginia Tech is my top choice now. They release admission decisions this week.

As this topic is about interdisciplinary MFA programs in Art, I thought it might be useful to share schools I have applied. University of Texas at Dallas (UTD)- Art and Technology University of North Texas in Denton (UNT)- New Media Art Virginia Tech University- Creative Technologies I am still waiting to hear from all three.

Do you guys know if schools release admission decisions in spring break? Can't think of a week without the hope of hearing something! I know that UT Dallas won't release anything on the spring break.

I finally got my first result! Got accepted to MFA in Studio Art, focus on painting at Texas Tech University. I haven't seen anyone here had applied to the same universities as mine. However, I thought it is good to share the news that might be useful for someone some day! They offered me 1000 $ scholarship that qualifies me for in-state tuition in the amount of 2500 $. Plus TA that pays 8250 $ for a year.

Actually, I just got one interview for painting. It was pretty informal and they asked usual questions such as why do you want to study this program and who is your favorite artist...etc. However, It was at Texas Tech University and they are not hard on their applicants. Crossed fingers for your upcoming interviews! Good luck:)

Hi, I applied and got accepted to Parson's Art and Tech program last year. They did not conduct any interviews then. I did not accept the offer because there was no funding options. Did u applied to Art and Technology programs in other schools? Like UT Dallas and Virginia Tech?

Accepted in PARSONS MFA in Design and Technology, with no fundings. Rejected by RISD, MFA Digital Media! God it is damn disappointing...... waiting to hear from CalArts (you wish!), SCAD, SAIC. I had an e-mail from SMFA last week telling me they will contact me, so I guess I am accepted there, but no words of fundings yet.

Accepted to PARSONS Design and Technology major, with no financial aids.
