Hey. I'll be attending NYU in the Fall. I'm a New Yorker though. What program are you in?

Still haven't heard from BU SSW ...the waiting process after you have heard from other programs is so stressful! Anyone apply in January and still haven't heard anything as yet? Hopefully they get back to me TODAY ... or by early next week. BC is waiting to hear back from me plus they are definitely being generous in their scholarship. I'm so anxious to see what BU has to offer...

I applied to Hunter from January 28, 2014, everything was finalized by January 31st. My online application still says PENDING PROGRAM DECISION. I call them no answer:( When I sent the admissions office an email a note at the bottom said ...all decisions will be in by May 1st. I think this is ridiculous, when I did apply to other schools. I am going to call back today. Hopefully someone can help me. I applied to Boston College around the same time and I heard back from them already...plus they want my decision in few days. What could be taking Hunter so long?

Thanks HopefulMSW. I was drawn to BU because of it's dual-degree program with the School of Education. But BC is a great program and since they offer school social work certification I was very excited. Plus they are definitely being generous in their scholarship. I applied to Hunter around late January, early February. And I haven't heard anything. I got accepted to Boston College and Boston University. They want to hear back from me soon...even though BU was my top choice, I'm anxious to hear from Hunter.

I got accepted into BU! Yay! I'm totally excited. I haven't received the official letter in the mail as yet, hopefully they give me generous scholarship. I REALLY need it. BUT I'm a bit confused. I applied to BU's dual-degree program (MSW/MEd) and I only got an acceptance email from BU School of Education...but the email sounded like I got accepted to both programs. Has anyone else applied to the dual degree program at BU?

Hey HopefulMSW! If you don't mind me asking, why did you choose BU over BC? I have this decision to make as well, that's why I ask.
