  1. Called my grad awards department and asked if they had heard anything. They said no. I think I might have been the 30th person to call him today. He was not impressed. I feel like I'm in a psych experiment and I'm a pigeon on a timed reward schedule and then the pecking increases exponentially the closer it gets to time when food will be provided. Only instead, I'm refreshing this forum, checking my e-mail, checking SSHRC's twitter, and checking the SSHRC website.
  2. So they were PhD students and appying to the doctoral SSHRC and SSHRC e-mailed them? I thought SSHRC was very firm on the "no e-mailing results" policy?
  3. I have hounded everyone in my departments. They all say that students find out before they do. You can still bug yours if you are looking for something to pass the time, but it won't make the results be mailed out any sooner unfortunately.
  4. If it helps anyone find it, it was a reply to a tweet from Stellar_StellaD, so if you go to the SSHRC main twitter feed, you have to click "tweets and replies" and then scroll down to find it.
  5. SSHRC just tweeted that the letters will be sent out next week: "@Stellar_StellaD Should be sent out next week but we will tweet next week to confirm." https://twitter.com/SSHRC_CRSH/statuses/456827459233533952
  6. I live in Ottawa. Think I could show up on their doorstop and ask for my results? What if I had a doctor's note saying that the intense anxiety of waiting is causing sleep deprivation and decreased concentration. Think I could find out then?
