I received an email this morning placing me on pending status...They said I won't be hearing back until July. I've already accepted my spot at CSULA though.

I have yet to hear from CSULB...I applied early February. I was never placed on pending status or anything, but I received an email stating that my application was under "department review," and that was about 7 weeks ago.

I will also be withdrawing my admission (I had paid the $280 already, fml), because their financial aid is horrible.

I was accepted to the 2 year program at CSULA this past Friday (turned in my app in January). I had called the Monday of that week, and they said they'd be releasing their decisions within the next week or two. Good luck

I applied January 30, was accepted February 28th. I initially accepted their offer, but most likely going to withdraw. Good luck to those who are waiting

I'm so glad I found these forums! I applied to LB the first week of February, still haven't heard anything...please tell me I'm not the only one.

I know I'm late to the party, but does anyone have more info regarding Cal State LA's MSW program? I was JUST accepted on Friday for the forensic social work concentration, and I'm kind of freaking out. I am about 75% sure I'll be attending there (it's either LA or USC...), but I have questions. I made the stupid mistake of not attending any of the info sessions, and the admissions office NEVER answers when I call. These are my questions: -How big is the social work cohort? what about concentrations? -How are field placements determined? Thank you so much advance, feel free to message me as well.
