I applied to Painting and Sculpture internship. Yourself?

Hi everyone, I still have heard nothing. Zilch. I'd rather not pester them until the notification deadline, so until then, am just sitting tight.

I applied and so far have heard nothing either. They were late posting the internship descriptions so I wouldn't be surprised if they were late notifying chosen applicants too...but who knows! good luck to all!

That's good to hear that I'm not the only one with 2 years behind me who is applying! I also graduated with an art history degree (Specialist), but only a bachelor of arts, not a masters. As for experience, I have actually curated shows and organized shows because I was lucky enough to land a job out of university where I ran a small artists' collective in Toronto - so I feel very confident in that I have a lot of relevant, interesting experience. But I know the competition is fierce for MoMA internships! I noticed that they only advertised the 12 month internships for less than a month and they weren't advertised as much as previous years, seemingly. If I hadn't known about them and been waiting for them to be advertised, I probably would have missed the boat. I wonder if they did that to automatically reduce the number of applications? Cheers!!

Thanks for your input on my questions! I really appreciate it - for some reason, I didn't get a notification that someone answered my post, so I'm a little late replying. Yes, I did apply to the Curatorial Internship but I haven't heard anything back yet. I couldn't find a notification deadline on their website either, so I'm not sure how long to wait before contacting them. Now that we're at the end of June, has anyone received a phone call? Hi everyone! I was wondering if there was anyone on here applying for the 12 month MoMA internship who could answer some questions: 1) What do you define as a recent graduate? (aka have you all graduated in the past year? I graduated 2.5 years ago and I still consider myself a recent grad, but I'm wondering how MoMA approaches it) 2) They accept international applicants, but is it a pro or con to be located in Europe aka not anywhere near New York? I live in Paris, France (originally I'm from Toronto, Canada). 3) What kind of experience do you guys have? I consider myself an emerging contemporary arts curator, with experience curating and organizing shows. I'm almost afraid I have TOO much experience....do you think that's possible?
