Someone took the time to post just as many fake Harvard, Princeton and Yale results. Appears he/she still has a lot of time to waste.
they seem to be particularly bored today
-
rejected from Princeton
-
In at Duke for public policy - political science track
Fantastic!
-
Some people said that they were rejected by Columbia on the result page, but it seems that nobody claims rejection here. Well, I guess I shouldn't trust that page then.
No, don't trust it until someone claims.

I have it on good word that MIT will notify everyone by the end of next week
-
That is somewhat odd to send out them out individually. I wonder if the DGS doesn't yet know about BCC.
Any IR admits to Columbia?
and if they are sending them out individually, would the acceptees mind sharing the first letter of their last names for those of us who are frantically waiting?

In at Harvard PE&G
Congrats! What a winning streak!
-
In at Columbia. Good luck to those waiting!
Congrats!
(...there goes another one for me....damn, I really thought I had a shot...)

I love the smell of rejection letters in the afternoon?
my thoughts exactly...except it probably won't be rejection letters, just silence...
-
Anyone have any experience with U of T's PhD program? It is actually one of my top choices.
-
I can't believe how slow this week has been so far!

I'm glad to have gotten my first acceptance after 4 rejections. I'm in at UMass-Amherst with 14,000 stipend for 20hrs/wk RA or TA position for my first 3 years.
congrats!

Hi everyone, first time poster here... I emailed the department at Princeton asking whether all successful applicants had already been notified and they answered that the Grad School began sending out letters to all applicants yesterday. It seems that this year rejections and probably waitlists are coming by mail...
What a horrendous waste of paper. All decisions should really be sent electronically.
-
really curious why Princeton hasn't sent out their rejections yet...

This admissions game has been far more emotionally trying that I had imagined. I think I went into this process with a really healthy attitude - I only applied to schools I'd be happy at, and recognized that I needed one, just one acceptance - if the rest were rejections, it didn't matter. On top of it, I have a really solid back-up "life plan" that, while not my first choice, I'd be perfectly happy with.
It really is the waiting period that has started to degrade my mental health - I've got one rejection (no biggie) and at least one other assumed rejection - these are not the problem, its the silence that is the problem. If I'm not going to be going into a PhD program this coming fall, I just want to know so I can start making other plans and get on with my life.
OK, end rant. I will not post like this again.

Preparing myself for a Princeton rejection today - and hopefully some good news from elsewhere...
-
Sorry, I meant Princeton. Any IR admits at Princeton?
I like what you're thinking, but it just seems so unlikely at this point. The best I'm hoping for now is a waitlist.
Congrats to everyone who got an acceptance today! Well done!

Well, I was not the original, but in at Indiana.
yay, congrats! I love hearing some good news (even if its not my own)

oops repeat post

Mine is empty as well - was it ever filled in? I've never checked it before.

I know for a fact that, at least as of the end of January, the Gtown admissions committee was not expecting to meet until the end of February, so don't expect decisions until the first week of March.
I stand corrected. Here's to hoping that Columbia, Princeton and Harvard come through for us this week...
-
After three rejections, I won't bother getting excited for Columbia. Will be a calm week for me. Unless we are expecting Georgetown this week too...? Or do you guys think it'll be the following week?
I think Gtown notified around Feb 20th last year, so its possible acceptances will be sent out this week...

How are people checking their Yale status? Mine still just says application submitted on the ApplyYourself page.
At the very bottom of the page it should say Decision Status, and have a link.
If not, perhaps you are one of the lucky ones who will be getting an acceptance???

MIT will notify next week - its definitely a top choice of mine.
Is anyone waiting to hear from Canadian schools? I decided to apply to one program up north.
