Actually I have considered posting my acceptance (if I am accepted) but then I realized that some of my friends, who are attending other schools I also want to get in could, by some random chance, make the comment I was accepted to a member of the adcom and totally screw me…so, no. Also there is this thing, I haven’t told my boss I’m applying, only if I’m accepted I will tell her (but not just after it, I will wait until my contract ends, so we can negotiate my staying in work just a little more, to make some savings I’ll need)

Muchachos,
los acompañare en la espera. Consultaba el forum, pero ante la desesperacion de la espera, creo que una buena forma de sobrevivir es posteando.
Soy amigo de Mario, también de San Marcos. Hasta donde sé somos 4 sanmarquinos postulando, no Mario?
Postulo a 4 universidades.
Me rechazaron en Minnesota a inicios de Febrero.
De Temple U. no sé nada; me escribieron por última vez el 10 de febrero para decirme que ya tenían todos mis papeles.
Finalmente, en Tulane y U. of Miami estoy entre los 7 finalistas.
Ayer tuve mi entrevista con los 5 miembros del comité de Tulane; fueron muy amables. Por la noche recibí un correo de mi Adviser, el correo decía:
"Buena entrevista! Avísame apenas sepas algo."

Interviews: 1 (Tulane)
Waiting: 3 (Miami, Tulane, Temple)
Rejected: 1 (Minnesota)

Well, well, well.....finally I become a member of this community....I was watching these pages for the last few days....applied for 9 univs.....got a cute zero acceptance till today....ohh....yaa.....got 2 rejections as well...... the same boring stuff....large number of qualified applicants.....record breaking number of etc etc.... neways.....I wont get anything for worrying....so better cheer about it!!....yaa I am serious......is there anyone enough lucky out here??.....Lets enjoy our present days..... :-)
Oh...yaa....those who have been accepted....I sincerely congratulate them all....wish u all d best....and hope that you will also hope and pray for me
