Well, a little harsh but probably mostly true intextrovert. Still, Columbia subsidizes grad housing and it's definitely doable. But you're right, no way it merits 700 applicants.
I'm an undergrad at Columbia and went to an info session about grad school and was shocked by that number. Is that number mostly due to the location? Either way, I'm not applying there.
I just got my grades from the past semester and have already turned in my apps. Do I need to send the schools midyear grade reports? I know a few of them asked for them specifically, so can I assume that the others don't need them?
I wound up having to pay for my scores twice because apparently when I ordered my score reports my subject test was "not yet available" (I ordered them on Nov. 1 and they were released later that week). My friend had called to make sure that this woulnd't be the case and the woman assured her that she could go ahead and order early and they would send the subject scores when they became available. Did anyone else have this problem? What is ETS's official policy on this?
