Hey, I have a strange question that I bet you'd have some insight into ... Why is it CU Boulder, but UCD for Denver and not CU Denver? That's always confused me!

Nope, nothing. I'm thinking we wont hear anything, rejection or otherwise, until mid-April after they evaluate whose accepting their offers. On last year's results board, it looks some people didn't get an accept or rejection until late May! But I thought the line from the e-mail you received was ominous — something like "if we make second-round offers." But Stony Broo...

I went to IU for undergrad. My FAVORITE residential area is around Bryan Park, very close to campus. Beautiful.

Denver is AMAZING. I hope to be there for school, but don't think there's a chance. So I'm looking for writing jobs there and may reapply. But I lived in Colo. last year and would drive to Denver every chance I could! Its a big city enveloped by the serenity of the mountains; even the downtown is different than most busy city streets. You'll have to let me know if you get into IU. I went there for English honors undergrad and know the ins and out of the campus and Btown. Fourth Street is the best for a variety of foreign cuisine, and you can absolutely lose yourself in the main library stacks. The Lily Library has an unbelievable collection of rare books and manuscripts. Oh, and the music school and performances!
