  1. Based on constantly creeping/reading past HGSE threads, my guess is that Masters applicants will hear the results on either Friday, March 6th 2015 or Monday, March 9th, 2015 ...until then... fingers crossed.
  2. Has anyone gotten the Financial Aid email? Wondering when the forms and packages will be sent to us?
  3. Same, made me nervous! Good luck to all!!!!!!
  4. Worth a try to ask, but how do you think the admissions process works? Is it just the team of admissions or do the program directors sit in on who they want in their programs?
  5. Thank you, fellow IEP applicant! Good luck!
  6. Hi! I cant find the financial aid application....
  7. Good luck everyone!!!!!!
  8. Don't lose hope. I still have some (a little) hope. My scores and GPA are lower than yours. Just try keep your head up!
  9. You're very welcome and best of luck to you (and all of us)!
  10. If you think your GRE score is bad, you should see mine... Rest assured, yours is just fine, do not worry about it. I've heard from multiple people that the SOP is the main thing that will grant you admission so heres the tips I've gotten. I've been working on my SOP since July, and I'm finally comfortable where it is now. My fiance is a Harvard student and I've gotten 2 HGSE'ers to look over it. They all say it seems great. My SOP is: - personal - hints at part of my story but I expand more on it in my personal challenges essay. - it starts off with a "story" having to do with my challenges with a few strong and effective sentances - Why I want to study IEP - provided some examples from professional experience which led to: - Why I want to study IEP at HGSE - Why now. - I've been told this is the most important part, I have yet to be at a comfortable place. You really need to explain to admissions what you can offer, why you're important. But mainly. Admissions have said write from the heart. So IMO, I would get as personal as you can. The majority of my essay highlighted the why I want to study IEP. I hope that kind of helped, I repeated what most people have said in these forums, but decided I'd dispense it again. And really, don't worry about the GRE. Your scores are much better than you think. I think my GRE scores will for sure be the cause of my rejection, and they are much MUCH lower than yours. You're fine! I just really hope they employ the holistic approach and don't weigh the GRE as much, it's a silly, horrible test. Haha
  11. Hey, is anyone attending the IEP virtual session tomorrow? I really want to but I have work! If anyone is, please let me know how it goes!
  12. Your credentials are out of this world! If you feel like you're not qualified for this program...I'm not sure how I should feel. I think you're spot on perfect for IEP. I also have a question for former IEP'ers. How important is GPA for the admissions team? My weakest point of the application is my GPA and my GRE scores, i'll assume. Hard to study for the GRE while trying to finish school.
  13. I'm set to write my GRE on November 22nd, I'm freaking out. The program I'm applying to prefers high AW scores more than anything else, but I'm not feeling good about any of it. Does anyone have suggestions of what topics to study for AW? or know sample questions?
  14. Hey! You and I both are in the EXACT same position. Applying to HGSE for IEP in 2015, My first GRE is on Nov. 22nd, and will most likely do so horrible on it that I'll need to take one later on, sometime in December. I would contact the admissions, I was told my November 22nd date was not too late, I'm sure Dec 13th or around then will be fine as long as you make sure with the admissions crew. If you do get an answer, please let me know! It would really help me too!
  15. I;ll look into that! Thanks! Good luck all!
  16. Obrigado! elevintiocho, did you take the GRE more than once? I'm pretty worried for the GRE. I'm not very good at tests. But I'll keep studying the prep guides
  17. I've read over the years that there is about 50-60 students in each program.
