I really wish the one schools that accepted me (with funding) wasn't being such a prick about making me decide whether or not to go in there in 6 days. I think funding works weird there so I'd be risking loosing it. I dont wanan burn bridges but it's not my 1st choice, so it's possible i'd end rescinding the acceptance in the end.
Hello All ~
I saw a few post regarding this pesky topic but I figured I'd add my own experience in here...perhaps someone can shed some light.
So I was accepted into a great PHD program in Counseling. Great funding. Great school. Great faculty. This is a one of my top choices and a school I could see myself attending. Nevertheless, I am also going on 2 additional interviews plus have 3 schools I have not heard from. Many of these programs are locates in places have never visited and I think it would be beneficial for me to go there and interview prior to making a final choice.
I am afraid I will lose the funding. Not sure how to go about asking for an extension...ya'll think I should just take it? Am I being bullied into accepting? Thoughts?!
I am also in the same wagon with you guys...
I also saw fromt he results list that some students have not left the wait list until April!
To the poster....would you share who's you POI. I was also told by mine that only was student would be chose. Wonder if we have similar interest.
P>S I needed to waste more time and worry more so here are the dates that it appears they ahve sent out interview emails inthe last few years...hope that helps some
