Did anyone happen to take the CDA (communication disorders assistant) to SLP route? Is it a disadvantage to do so? Edit: someone told me that CDA is an Ontario-only thing. What do they call it in other provinces?

Hi everyone! I'm in a bit of a pickle because I don't go to a school that has a linguistics department. That said, I wanted to take a basic syntax class in order to complete a prerequisite to enroll in AUDI 403 (online course through UBC). It's only offered in March. While I doubt I will be able to complete that prerequisite before then since I'm still completing my BA, I was wondering if an online syntax course is offered through a Canadian (or American) university. My only other option is to take a syntax class through UofT or Western during the summer, but then I won't be able to apply to UBC this cycle. Thank you!
