i'm hoping to get into either Queen's or UofT. But I also applied to several american schools. Where did you apply?

Thanks! I applied to calgary school program as well, and then a lot of clinical programs (long shot)...we'll just have to wait and see!!

damn...you blew my stats out of the water and I applied there too. GOOD LUCK! my overall GPA is only 3.3 but final year 4.0 Very little research experience, but I did volunteer in a lab and am currently doing my thesis. LOTS of work with kids: Camp counselor for 6 years, accepted to teachers college. 1 excellent referee, other 2 O.K. I worked very hard on my SOI No pubs or presentations.... So, you look like a VERY good applicant, at least in comparison to my application lol

I'm in the same boat - one of my referees submitted the reference letter but forgot to complete a mandatory "clinical form". Also some schools have it posted as my GRE scores and/or transcripts have not been received but I'm positive they should have been by now...

Yeah, I've been working on a thesis this year and I was a lab volunteer for a while....that's about it though. In my statement of intent I highlighted a major I have in biology as well. I said that it has fortified my scientific writing skills. I guess no one really knows what their chances are, it all depends on the pool of applicants, right?! but i'm sure we can all agree, this whole application process has definitely been a test of character!!!

Applying to these schools for fall 2015 (clinical psych): wisconsin-madison Purdue Louisville Idaho state Syracuse Queen's Lakehead UofT Calgary GRE: verbal - 161 quant - 155 analytical - 4.5 GPA 3.3 overall last 2 years 3.9 final year = 4.0 overall psychology classes 3.7 Anyone care to share what you think my chances are? (i'm canadian - does this increase my chances at american schools?) GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Volunteer as a front line call respondent on a helpline. - provide short term empathetic listening for callers with various problems and/or mental health issues. I'm also doing an undergraduate thesis, and I was a lab volunteer for a few months. No publications or anything though. I'm sure my letters of reference will be strong. ...What do you think? Do I have a shot?
