MFA was just added to my Columbia slide room app. They must be reviewing MFA painting applicants this week. Now I'm really nervous and is one more thing to continually check.

For anyone who is coming to the saic interview event feb 28th/ March 1st. We should go out for dinner after the reception! I live in chicago so I know a good handful of places with cheap/good food.
I'll be in town Saturday evening for a Sunday interview. I'd possibly be down. I grew up in the south suburbs and know chicago fairly well. Do you think the reception will be fairly informal? There is a chance I'll be a little late due to my work schedule. Thanks

CONGRATS! Do you think that person you talked to was just confused or do you think they are sending out interview requests in batches? Can you tell I am still hopeful! RISD was my top pick! Trying to visualize an email from them in my inbox tomorrow.
I too am hoping that is the case but outlook is grim at this point

I have a Skype interview with Hoffberger next week and have been getting prepared. How did it go? thanks!just finished an skype interview with MICA. if anyone else has one and wants to know anything. They said id hear from them by march 15th. I had an interview with PNCA on the twelfth and they said with in two weeks if anyone wanted to know.

Just read through my RISD letter and noticed that I accidentally referred to the school as, "Rhode Island School of Art and Design" and not Rhode Island School of Design. Can't beleive I did that. I proofed it multiple times as well. Pretty much seals the deal on that one. Damn...

No, I believe they will change your status to sculpture mfa when they begin the review process. If the mfa drops back off, you are no longer in contention. Don't hold me to this, that's just how I interpreted mlk's initial post.
