    I have been obsessively checking my e-mail since finishing my applications, despite being fully aware that I won't hear from schools until at least January. I've developed neurosis....

      I know it is hard! Thank goodness for this community where we can share our frustration with people who understand. :)

      The waiting is the worst part, and the part no one seems to warn you about... My advice is to do your best to put it aside until after the holidays. Enjoy Thanksgiving (if you're in the US), Christmas, New Years, etc. Fuss about it after the fun is over. :)
