Curious about one thing- can anyone say with surety that the e-mail from NSF will have something in the subject line that lets you know you were accepted or rejected before opening the actual e-mail? I read before that the subject line will say "dear fellow" if you received the fellowship, but I'm not sure how accurate what I read was.
Part of me wants to just post my proposal so you guys can be like DN/M/P/DY..... definitely not, maybe, probably, definitely yes. This sucks knowing they've looked at it all by now. One more month will fly by though I suppose
Not to sound like I'm gloating- but did find out I received a smaller summer fellowship from USGS- I hope some of you are hoping for smaller awards as well... the good news is some major positive motivation
Only because I check fastlane too much (for seemingly no reason) you can no longer sign in and view your 2015 application (at least I can't) decisions have been made??
I emailed about side margins being greater than 1 inch (between downloads and edits from friends and advisors mine were switched back to the default which is 1.25). They e-mailed me back next business day that margins greater than 1 inch would not result in an application being returned without review, since that gives you no unfair advantage over other applicants. Woof. Hope this helps anyone else freaking out about the same issue.
