  1. Good luck everyone. I know it is stressful waiting for interview invitations. Don't stress too much about interviews though, they're mostly a lot of fun. I'm a first year in MIT bio and interviewed at a decent amount of immunology programs last year. If you have any questions, feel free to message me.
  2. I offically accepted my offer from MIT. It's such a big relief to know where I'll be for the next few years. Best of luck to everyone else. Are any of my future classmates here?
  3. I was accepted into MIT Biology!!! I'm so excited!
  4. Hopkins was amazing. Let me know what you decide.
  5. I was recently accepted to Columbia and UPenn!! I'm so excited that I'm officially going to grad school.
  6. Congratulations!! I hope you hear from UNC though.
  7. Those percentages are for each category, not for the total number of students. The internationals admit rate at 41.45% is from 2309 admits out of 5571 international applicants. They received 61,556 applicants total, so only about 4% were internationals.
  8. Officially rejected from Cold Spring Harbor Lab. I can't say I'm surprised.
  9. I just got an MIT Biology invitation about an hour ago!
  10. I contacted Yale BBS to inquire if all interview invitations have been sent out just for some closure and I was told the immunology track is still reviewing applications and that I would be contacted soon if they decide to invite me. So anyone waiting for Yale, there is still hope haha.
  11. I am. I went to community college (8 years after high school) before transferring to the small state school that I am currently attending.
  12. Congratulations! That's awesome. An early Christmas present for you.
  13. Unless you have insurance through a company that isn't licensed in your new state, you can just keep the same policy and change the location. If there is a difference in cost, you'll be charged or refunded. If the new vehicle is more fuel efficient, and the distance is far enough, it might negate the two registration fees. Maybe even save some money.
  14. Interview at Harvard Immunology!!! I can't believe it. I have a scheduling conflict though and I'm not sure how to handle it.
  15. Thanks. I really appreciate it. I will be at UChicago that weekend. I look forward to talking with you.
  16. Thank you. It was a great way to start the day. Congrats on your interviews.
  17. Interview at University of Pittsburgh IBGP!!!
  18. Interview at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine!!! (Graduate Program in Immunology)
