Hi everyone, Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'll be starting at UMass in the fall and am starting to look for apartments and roommates. I'm hoping to visit sometime in the summer, and I can possibly also visit in May. Can anyone comment on the best time to visit and/or the time that leases starting in August/September will be most available? Thanks!

I've posted there too (the only new graduate profile going into CS, I think), and it's been really helpful! However, I feel like I don't have much of a gauge on when most fall leases will be available (early summer, late summer?), so I'm still trying to figure out when to visit. Are you still looking for a roommate? I'm hoping to live with at least one other person and would love to talk!

I'm also joining UMass in the fall, in the computer science department. I'm pretty excited! I'm not sure when is the best time to do the apartment search and everything - do you know when/how you'll be going about that?
