I think you just need to make a conscious choice about your presentational self in the classroom (and stick with it). Whether it's the super professional prototype or more laid back ("I'm more like you") vibe, I think either can work. Personally, I opt for the latter because its just a part of my personality.

JMU's environmental communication program is new-and it's really good. The faculty-student ratio is outstanding, and most of the first year graduates are pursuing PhDs (but there are a lot of people who want to do advocacy work, too (since it's an advocacy program).

Hi all! I've been creepin' on this thread for awhile. Trying to figure out if decisions are starting to come in yet. I've had one acceptance so far. But, I'm still waiting on the dream school. Hope everyone's applications/waiting games are going well. I feel like I'm checking my email constantly, and it's not even January yet!
