I also submitted mine on August 18th.. My potential advisor said that for PhD, student still can join within 2 or 3 weeks after the first class started.. Hope to see you guys!

I meant VISA rejection. Even though we have been accepted by Masdar, it is still possible we are rejected by UAE Immigration for obtaining the residence VISA. If you try googling about VISA for UAE, there have been many cases where the VISA is delayed or being rejected, mainly because of "security check" which is done by UAE gov (police department, I guess). It remains a mystery how this "security check" works

as long as it's not a rejection, I think we still have some hope Pray to God

Hello, I guess this FAQ will answer your question, I took it from KAUST website. "May I apply before receiving my official test scores (i.e. TOEFL/IELTS and GRE scores)? Those applicants who are unable to produce a English language proficiency test score or the optional GRE score by the deadline may still apply. However, you must submit your scores or upcoming test date including the confirmation/registration code to complete your application and enable it to move forward to the faculty review committee. (KAUST Admissions ETS TOEFL code 4107). (KAUST Admissions ETS GRE code 4139)." You may explain your situation to KAUST admission team, I think it will be OK.

Hi, I submitted all of my documents on 29/12/20014, now my status is still registered/waitlisted. I am still waiting from their response/interview schedule. is there anybody on the same foot here?
