Starting a PhD in chemistry this fall and I'm pretty excited! However, I'm not sure how I'd handle the change in environment as I'm used to living in big cities
I applied for a completely different program, but I haven't heard from them either--it's been more than three months! I feel like it's a rejection according to the results page but I'd like to know soon because the wait is killing me
I will most likely be attending Penn State in the fall (waiting on other offers but the likelihood of a positive outcome is waning) and was wondering if anyone knew anything about State College, PA? I saw someone had asked earlier, but no response was given. I'm very nervous as I feel Central PA may be very conservative :\
I didn't apply to any specific program, I just left the option field blank. I am interested, though, in bioanalytical and physical chemistry. I also mentioned Dr. Noid in my SOP! Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the visiting weekend due to prior commitment
I'll be scheduling an individual visit but am really bummed about missing out on the Open House. Please let me know how it goes!
I was offered admission by Penn State a while back, with funding info coming in the mail a week later. I believe they are still reviewing applications as one of my friends just got a rejection notice...
