Yeah I applied to Univ of Oregon too, The person that got one I think was international, so maybe they do that first? My last name is a Z too, i dunno if that is also a factor as to why I havent recieved anything yet.

I applied last year and literally put no effort into any of the materials I sent. This year, I actually tried. But waiting a year did help me produce like 20-30 new works, 10-12 of which occupy space in my portfolio, so the extra year helped me as well.

I feel like I've seen your work before and we may of met in person a while back. Cant recall when though.

Thanks! Well everyone on the west coast in comparison to people on Long Island are much nicer, the climate is year round acceptable and in the landscape department there is way more stuff to shoot out here. My advice: Assimilate.
