If I could just say -- Even though I did not get into Northwestern, I applaud its admissions process. It doesn't leave people hanging. The committee informs people right away whether they're accepted or not.

Quick question -- if you've received an offer from one of your top choices, is it generally advisable to withdraw one's application from one's non-top choices?
How about JJWS? Did you have an interview at UPenn? I didn't. I'm trying to establish whether this status update is more likely to happen for those who were not interviewed.
