I hope so! As soon as I saw your post I freaked out and I called a girl in my cohort that also applied to see if she had heard anything. We're both still waiting. Maybe tomorrow!

Still waiting to hear back from Colorado...sigh.

If I get one more junk email I'm going to lose it. I can't keep getting my hopes up and then finding out about a sale instead!

Ha! What kills me is the study will most likely be expedited if not exempt completely. I think the new VP is just flexing his muscles - I fully expect them to go back to normal soon.

We just got a new VP over here, so maybe that's the issue, but the board has gotten very nit-picky. I almost think they feel obligated to find a "mistake" on each document just to say they changed something. Just a bit frustrating!

I'm telling y'all, sometimes dealing with the IRB process makes me rethink this whole Ph.D thing. (I say as I check my email yet again for news)

I'm about to go crazy waiting to hear back, so I welcome this distraction! I don't really read many in-field books, sadly, but I recently read Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg just to get some additional perspective for a study I'm doing so I'm going to count that My favorite pleasure read, at the moment, is the All-Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness annnnd, I don't really watch TV, but I've been binging on Friends during my free time lately!

Hi everyone! I just found out about this site, and I wish I would have known about it sooner! My focus is in Org Comm and I applied to three schools for a Ph.D. I'm waiting on one last letter but so far the results are as follows: Purdue: accepted w/funding (tied for my top choice!!) UT: declined (last choice, so it's ok!) Good luck to everyone
