So, I am not quite sure yet where I will go because I have not had my interview yet, but I only applied to 2 schools. I was accepted to one yesterday and offered an interview at the other. Hopefully I will be accepted at that one too. With that said, I will either be at Texas State University (Texas) or St. John's University (New York) studying School Psychology at the Masters / Specialist level.

Undergrad Institution: Private Research University In Boston Major(s): Psychology Minor(s): None GPA in Major: Not Certain Overall GPA: 3.26 Position in Class: No Idea Type of Student: Domestic, Female Applying For: School Psychology (Masters / Specialist) GRE Scores: Q: 149 V: 161 A: 4.5 Research Experience: One semester of research at my college. One semester of interning in London, England at a mental health charity. Applying to Where: Texas State University, St. John's University Accepted: Texas State University (Very excited) Interview: St. John's University (Have not had it yet, but have already been contacted to set it up) Rejected: None...yet

This is so weird, but almost as soon as I posted that I got an email about it. I was told to email Linda to set up an interview. It may be different for me because I'm planning on enrolling at the Staten Island / Oakdale campus, not the Queen's campus. It's so weird that she emailed me right after I posted that though. Congrats to you on your interview. Hopefully we will both get in and I will see you on campus. lol.

Question, when did you send in your application to St John's? I am still waiting to hear from them. Also more importantly, how did they contact you? I am a little bit worried, because I applied here to. I completed my application in February. The problem is that now my school is on spring break, so I would have no way of getting to my school mailbox for a week if they sent admit decisions through the mail And their website doesn't post decisions as far as I know. I'm hoping they email. lol.

Just checked the Texas State University website and saw that I was admitted. I almost fell out of my chair with excitement. I can't believe I got in!!!

My People! It's so good to finally encounter people who actually know what school psychology is first of all and who are interested in it too. I am applying to: Texas State University (Texas) St John's University (New York) I thought that they both seemed like a good fit for me, although now I lean more heavily toward St John's than Texas. I completed my application for Texas a few days ago. I am still waiting for my transcript to reach St John's.
