So you mean that you are assuming you've been rejected because acceptances have already gone out and you weren't one of them? If so, don't some schools send out acceptances (and wait lists) in multiple waves?

Hey everyone, just jumping in on this thread. I was accepted at Northwestern a few days ago. I'm actually a fourth year PhD student transferring out of the program at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign because the department here is basically collapsing. So kind of in a weird boat. Anyway, congrats to everyone getting offers and good luck to everyone else!
