  1. My friend is currently in the program and says its stressful but she's having a great learning experience. I do not remember seeing anywhere on Salus's website that they do rolling admissions. Another thing that concerns me is that their deadline is April 1st and their program is already filled in March.
  2. did they post that they do rolling admissions?
  3. I also got the same email. Salus went through the same thing accreditation wise. Actually it was a year before they were even up and running. I hope they are not giving us the run around. I assume that this program was so popular because it was offered on CSDCAS and its a popular application portal.
  4. I'm not sure! I'm assuming its going to take a while though. Especially since this is their first time and the applicant pool was so large.
  5. So I got off the phone with the director of the program and over 375 applications were received. This surprises me especially because they are a BRAND NEW program and haven't even received accreditation yet! This goes to show you how COMPETITIVE this field is!
  6. I feel your pain! One teacher responded and that's it! I feel like everyone is overwhelmed by the disproportionate amount of people applying.

  10. Not sure about LIU Brooklyn, but I would contact every school you're interested in directly and ask if they accept people with your stats. That's next on my to do list.
  11. Honestly if you're in the same boat as me and didn't get in anywhere, rank should not matter. All programs have to adhere to ASHA regulations. They would not be accredited if ASHA didn't believe their program was adequate and efficient.
  12. that's great! when did you send the email? I wanna try the same...so if you could give me some info it would be greatly appreciated
  13. I'm really surprised nobody has posted a list like this yet... These are the majority of the schools that offer spring admittance. Hope this helps someone out! 14. Yes I am! Applying to as many in the Spring as possible. I am also a little aggravated with how long they waited. Just because it said decisions will be made by June 15th, doesn't mean they couldn't have sent it earlier? I do feel a little better that I am in the same boat and didn't feel like the only one not accepted!
  15. Oh wow! They didn't tell you of a waitlist or anything??? What are your stats if you don't mind me asking
  16. today's the day we find out! anyone else as nervous as me?
  17. I hope they do let us know by Monday. They're my last hope for this season and I want to plan asap for other alternatives.
  18. Mine was submitted May 4th, but my last recommender didnt send her letter until the 13th, two days before the due date. Do you know when your friend submitted everything?
  19. Right this doesn't seem to make any sense?
  20. My question is how can they waitlist people if the program isn't even full? Before applying for the May 15th deadline, I reached out to the director and she assured me they are still trying to fill spots?
  21. I'm assuming people have not heard yet because there were two different deadlines and people applied at different times... When did you find out you were waitlisted/ when did you apply?
  22. Hi everyone! Winding down with the fall 2015 application process. I'm wondering if anyone has heard back from Jacksonville University. I applied for the rolling admissions (May 15th) deadline. I am aware that decisions wont be made until June 15th but I noticed an acceptance already. Any information about the program would be greatly appreciated!
