  1. Received an email asking to fill out a prerequisite worksheet! Anybody else??? I don't know what this means...are they considering me?
  2. Not to sound ignorant but I hope they answer soon. They owe us a speedy and thorough response after the $75 processing fee. My piggy bank is completely empty and I feel like I've done everything but sell my soul to the devil for ANY placement.
  3. No I didn't hear back. You can direct message me if you like about USF
  4. Hi, I direct messaged you. I applied to USF as well.
  5. They didn't even send me an email...they just posted on the portal. My friend who attends there ( 4.0 GPA, high 160's GRE's and 5.5 writing) complains how "research intense" it is compared to other schools and how much they regard scores more rather than the student as a whole. Other than that she says it's a great program. I wish everyone the best of luck! The perfect school is out there for everyone!
  6. First denial from Temple. Idk why they took so long
  7. Nothing yet!
  8. Wow that's great! Do you think you will accept? How long are they giving you to answer?
  9. Just got off the phone with admissions. If you didn't receive any correspondence by now, you weren't considered in the first wave. There will be a second wave the week of March 16th. They sent out 90 acceptances and are expecting at least 65 to deny. Don't get discouraged gang, there's still hope!
  10. Lol I think the list would be shorter if I told you where I DIDN'T apply. I applied to as many schools as I could afford this time around because I only have a 3.5 GPA and a low GRE. I feel like everyone who's been accepted has higher than a 3.5 and stellar GRE's NY Medical, LIU Post, Saint Rose, William Paterson, LaSalle, Old Dominion, Longwood, Radford, USF, U Houston, Duquesne, Edinboro, Temple, SCSU, U TX El Paso, Misericordia, U AK Fayetteville = 17 Headaches
  11. I'm not a sugar coater as I'm a second year applicant but study HARD. Get your sleep the night before and have a balanced meal as I feel its also a test of your mental strength. You have to find the right schools, like Montclair that prefer no speech backgrounds. I wish you the best of luck!
  12. Lol I'm feeling the pain. My heart stopped when I didn't receive an acceptance to USF in the first wave...
  13. In all honesty it is becoming more and more difficult to get into any graduate school. I noticed far more acceptances were rewarded to those that broke 150. If you can afford to take it a second time and devote the time to study hard, I would take it again.
  14. Do you know if they sent out any invites to interview yet?
  15. ...guess I wasn't considered in the first round? Keeping hopeful and positive.
  16. Lol I like that.."picking us apart" sounds like this process is more like surviving the hunger games...
  17. Did anyone receive this email today? "Thank you once again for your application to Radford University's Speech-Language Pathology Program! The necessary components of your application are being forwarded to the RU Communication Sciences and Disorders Graduate Admissions Committee for review. Once the review is complete, you will be notified whether you will be extended an offer of admission for a position in the next incoming class." What strikes me odd is that i turned in all materials before the due date. Why is it under review now?
  18. Nope! Must be a good sign for you
  19. Sounds like a great sign for you! Especially if they said that they "strongly advise" you to submit it!
  20. Oh wow that is odd! Do you think they didn't get many applications this year? Why else would they extend it past a month?
  21. I wouldn't say that's a bad sign. Just talked to admissions and they said that if you received the email stating that your supplemental app and fees were received before February 1st you're good. Breathe everyone, everything is gonna be okay
  22. I received it yesterday. First it didn't have a number included in the email to help me activate. I called them back right after and a few hours later they sent the same email with a code. The code doesn't even work. Lol the saga continues
  23. I was explained of those 600 or so applicants only half are even elligible for review. The secretary told me that of those half they don't reach the criteria, aren't slp undergrad, or don't properly complete the paperwork ie forget supplements. Don't get too discouraged.
  24. yep! at least you got some interviews I'm still in the dark
