I did! It takes about 3+ months although they are on a rolling admissions.

I was accepted in February into USF advanced standing program. It takes a while, but it'll come. They will send a very vague email once you are accepted.

I think you have a good chance at getting into all of those schools. I would say just make sure your SOP and LORs are stellar and you should be good.

Yeah Chico is my last choice unfortunately. I really hesitated to even apply because of all the "controversial" things I've read lol. But I really want to visit before I make any decisions! Yeah I hope to see you there also!

Yes I read that also. Originally they said Mid March, but I guess they fell behind. I would really love to know soon because I applied for advanced standing. Did you apply to the advanced standing program also?

Yeah I received $8,000 per semester! I'm just wondering if they also have need based scholarships. I know they have a integrated mental health stipend for $18,000 but I'm interested in Child Welfare !

Some other good programs who have deadlines around March 1st are Washington University in St. Louis, USC, University of Chicago and I'm sure there are some other schools. Haha yes I totally understand, that was the reason why I didn't apply to the Universiyt of Washington.

The scholarship letter was sent separately in the mail. It came a little over three weeks later. I also would like to ask, when does your letter state you have to get back to them with a decision? I asked because Philip, the addmissions director, called me and told me I will get an extension if I decide to come visit on march 25th, and I wanted to see if your deadline was the same as mine.

I'm going to assume you are asking because of the CSULB summer bridge program. If so, Lisa, the admissions director, called and told me the $3,500 will have to come out of pocket. I can't remember the exact words she used to why I wasn't getting any federal aid, but I do remembering thinking "the filing period has passed."If you aren't referring to CSULB summer bridge, then I would say call that specific school and ask, but from my knowledge, any financial aid for summer 2015 would have been awarded with the 2014-2015 award. Furthermore, I would say research scholarships. I know CSULB had plenty of them on their website.

Hi! I was invited via email by Philip. I have until Feb 27th to RSVP, but I'm not sure they will reimburse me if I decide not to accept their admissions.

I receieved a letter in the mail on Feb 13. I've been meaning to ask PITT if there is a way to check online because I don't have a legit UPITT account yet. You should be recieving something very soon. They said the scholaships should be sent out by Feb 15th.

How was your visit to PITT? I just was invited to come visit in March and its fully paid by the school, but I'm still undecided.

Oh wow $26,000 is really good. That person must have been a stellar applicant!

I'm out of state also and I was offered $16,000 for the year. I personally thought it was a very generous scholarship.

Has anyone heard back from UPITT with a merit based scholarship? I'm just curious to know what the average amount is.

You still have a chance, stay positive. Who knows, you may hear back next week with a decision.

May I ask what else they talked about at this meeting? I live 12 hours away and was unable to make it. BTW, do you know when CSUDH will be sending out admissions decisions?
