curiousgeorge, if you take this ill-advised course, he will want to know why you accepted an offer before 4/15 and where you are heading. Further, he will be happy to inform you that decisions made prior to 4/15 are not binding. Do you have a response ready?

Some info on CUNY -- I spoke to someone in the department today who informed me that the committee is just now sitting down to the files, and acceptances will begin to come out in "2-3 weeks".

Applicants, the first week of March is near, and the endgame is nigh. While some applicants will surely be hanging around until April, I expect many regulars to slowly abscond over this month. Good luck to us still waiting for decisions!

Well Notre Dame applicants, steel yourselves: a week ago this afternoon more admits were emailed out. They may be deliberating as I type.

It's been a tough year. Never lose sight that you had the luck of applying during a recession. Lots of posters on here are giving this their second, third whack.

I notice you have left out Notre Dame. Supposedly they are meeting again this week -- hopefully not to reject everyone that's left. I surmise that you are either down on yourself over ND, or it's dropped off your radar due to better offers.
