I did. Met with silence from the department, a firm "no" when requesting the decision from the graduate school via email.

I must say, I would not suckle at the teat of Yale's cash cow, no matter how great the name cachet. If one is to go on to the Ph.D. (often earning as much as a Taco Bell shift supervisor as a graduate student), I would ferret away as much money as possible.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I had both of those comments on my Agora status (I had another transcript as well).

It's been an emotional 24 hours! Odd that they send out rejections before acceptances -- usually the other way around. No news is good news (for now), yellowshoes!

Anyone know anything about what's going on at UNC - CH? I noticed an acceptance from there was posted, but that's it.

I fear I was correct -- rejection. Congratulations -- you have all been admitted!

Or maybe you all have made it in and I have an early rejection! I'm emailing tomorrow. Will let you all know.

Check your decision status (if you remember the info). It may say "decision letter sent". Curious if other people got this.

Applicants: Anyone else get a letter from them this week (or NOT get a letter)? What was in it (my friend has to send it to me)?
